Regular maintenance and using your Nijdam product in the right way are very important. In this way your product will last for a long time and you will enjoy your ride even better! You will find an enclosed manual with every Nijdam product. We therefore recommend that you read it carefully. ·        Before and after using your Nijdam product, check if everything works, is properly secured and that no damage has occurred.

·        Make sure you always store your Nijdam product in a dry and clean place. Remove snow, ice, sand, mud or other debris. Skates should always be greased.

·        Store your Nijdam product indoors, in a dry place with few temperature fluctuations and never in direct sunlight.

·        Wheels and bearings can wear out with intensive use. Replace worn parts in time.

WHICH SIZE DO I NEED?

You will find a size chart for most of our products. You can find this table on the page of the product you have chosen. In this table you can see which dimensions belong to which size. ·        The hard boot has a fully hard 'shoe', usually made of shock absorbing PE. This boot gives the most support to the ankle. The hard boot gives you lots firmness and makes it possible to keep a great balance. The inner shoe is usually made of polyester and is removable. The hardboot skates close with a double quick lock.

·        The semi-soft boot has a half hard and half soft 'shoe', usually made of shock-absorbing PE and PU leather, polyester and EVA foam. The inner shoe and the outside of the skate are therefore more integrated. The semi-soft boot gives some support to the ankle and is more comfortable than the hard boot. The inner shoe is not removable and you can easily adjust the skates as desired thanks to the laces, powerstrap and clip closure.

·        The soft boot has a fully soft 'shoe' and fits like a normal shoe. We mainly see the soft boot when skating on ice, for example with figure skates or speed skates. The shoe is usually made of leather, PU leather or another type of textile. The soft boot is suitable for skaters who can skate a little better and can keep their balance. The soft boot is the most comfortable and flexible, so you can show all your skills! The soft boots can be closed with laces and Velcro.
